ʻAha Kāne Aloha Molokaʻi is a sacred Huakaʻi—a pilgrimage for men—rooted in land, lineage, and lived practice. It is an intentional crossing, held with care and discipline.
The journey begins on Oʻahu with three grounding days devoted to preparation, shaped through learning with Tony Lamair Burks II (Dr. Tony), a third-generation ordained minister and storyWeaver. Teresa Corso and Sweet Caroline Durham will co-facilitate a dedicated, supportive session. Through movement, sacred circles, intentional walks, and extended time in nature, the pace slows, the body settles, and brotherhood is formed through shared presence.
From Oʻahu, the Huakaʻi continues to Molokaʻi, where men enter deep cultural sharing and sacred learning with Kumu Paʻa Nui Lawrence Kalainia Kamani Aki, 50th generation of Hālāwa Valley, Molokaʻi. Through oli (chants), moʻolelo (stories), hula, ceremony, and time on ʻāina (land), culture is encountered as living prayer and ancestral transmission. Land, spirit, and brotherhood become the teachers.
This Huakaʻi is not about becoming someone new. It is about remembering how to walk—grounded, relational, and true.
